Legal Internships

We accept applications from students who have completed at least one year of legal studies. All internships are unpaid. The cover letter should indicate your available dates for internship. You will be required to submit a writing sample to complete the application process. The topics for the writing sample will be sent to you once your initial application is received. The duration of an internship will typically be a minimum of eight weeks and not exceeding six months in duration. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit applications at least six months in advance of the date on which they would like to start the internship.  Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Non-legal Internships

We also encourage internship applications from students or professionals with an interest and/or background in fundraising, communications, marketing, social science research or similar fields. Individuals with experience in website design, social media, database management and IT are strongly encouraged to apply. As with legal internships, non-legal interns are unpaid volunteers.
